To any one  looking at the buying a Presidential Dollar error coin, please be aware that the US Mint stated that the edge lettering orientation would be RANDOM due to the minting process. Check their website if you need confirmation.

So, whether the lettering is "Obverse Up" or "Reverse Up" makes no difference. They are both acceptable versions of the coin , NOT AN ERROR.

Please do not spend your money on this manufactured error. You can find both examples in ANY ROLL.
