There are things people can do that can have their ps2 last a long time.

1: don't drop it (or throw it if it makes you mad)

2: don't block the fan in the back

3: dont blow in it if it gets dusty, use air duster (saliva will ruin it if you happen to accidently spit) :)

4: keep it clean

5: keep items off the top

Doing these simple things will prolong the life of your game system
