Hello I bid on a vintage watch and did not make the reserve. Left it at that.

Then I received a valid second chance offer in my ebay messages, and agreed to the terms. Sent him a e-mail that I would have money order after I get home from work the day after the auction since offer came late in the evening. I did purchase the M/O., came home after work. Made out the envelope put a stamp on it. Before I left to mail it, I checked my e-mail and received one from seller stating "this item was taken off sorry for the inconvenience" I called Ebay support and during my conversation I received another e-mail  from the seller stating "I WILL HONOR YOUR BID SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE SEND MONEY ORDER TO..." This seller in checking his feedback first shows he is not willing to pay for his auctions  ( 3 neg) and now won't sell the item. Then gets wishy washy and will sell to me. The ebay support person suggested I write this account to the support dept to investigate this persons practices and they will monitor them. We are the community and this behavior stands outside the community and makes it difficult to continue enjoying our hobbies with this type of seller behavior. Please read all  persons feedback like I didn't til it was to late. It really describes people's action and future actions.

If they are new sometimes I will write to the newbie seller a "prenup of buying " to see if they will abide or I won't bid or buy it now. Sounds stupid but it has worked well since this episode happened to me. I did send the seller above my money but never received my watch and they were removed from ebay for one, me writing and complaint and they screwed more buyers. Hope this helps Buyer beware!!!!
