If you are looking for example a Powermax generator or Power Max, you should buy from Powerland which is the manufacturer of the Powermax units in China.  They have more options, units are better built - so you get more for your money.  I have seen both brands up close and they are very similar, but the Powerland units surpass the Powermax units.  Remember that the warranty from Powermax is limited to sometime depending on how they feel to 6 months on parts only.  Powerland is 1 year and they are easier to fix than the Powermax units - since Powermax units are built as per specs of Powermax which is entirely just to make more money. The units from Powermax can be bought for less than 380US so you see how much money is left for profit!!  The Powerland on the other hand are 580USD - a sign of quality, remember you get only what you paid for and some are taking advantage of you!!!  If they do that much for generators imagine on other items, be cautious.  I have seen all the brands that exist on the market ALL!!! and believe me do not rely on feedback left on e-bay - they are left usually within a few days and the units have not been really tried for real... You will say why is Powerland are not sold on e-bay, well this is because they would kill the Powermax brand in no time and they are afraid.  Powerland being professional and in business and wise have left Powermax sell only on e-bay.  Before I forget most units from Powerland not only are better built, but produce what they are suppose too or more for the same price!!! look for example the 6500, the Powerland produces 6850, the 8500 is 8750.  Powerland also stock parts!!!! And you do not need to wait 27 days or more to get a replacement part for your unit if it fails - 27 days is a long time, on average I have waited over 2 months.
