First Boot
If your laptop does not turn on when you first get it, you may need to take the RAM out and put it back in. On the underside of the laptop there is a 2x3 piece of plastic, the RAM cover. Pop the cover off and take the RAM out by gently pushing the pins holding it in, in the opposite direction. Then put the RAM back in and replace the cover.

Booting Normally
To turn your laptop on, just press the circle button above the keyboard. Sometimes you may need to hold the button for a couple seconds, this is completely normal.

Booting From Suspend or Hibernation
To boot your laptop up after you have put it in suspend mode (or closed the lid), simply open the lid up. Your laptop should power itself back up. If it does not, ensure it is plugged into an AC Adapter and then press the power button.
