There have been some questions raised about the Portrait Pro installation procedure. Please review the followling information if you are having trouble installing the Portrait Pro Digital Backgrounds DVD:
The new installation program for Portrait Pro Digital Backgrounds is a simplified way of copying the Digital Background Images to your hard disk drive. The installation program ONLY COPIES THE IMAGE FILES to your hard disk drive. The installation program creates a directory on your hard drive called "Portrait Pro". Depending on which volume you purchased, the install program will the extract the image files to a subdirectory called "volume1 or Volume2" depending on the volume you are installing. Once the installation process completes, the files have been copied to your hard disk. Next ---- Start you paint program, you will be able to access the image files through your paint program by browsing the Portrait Pro Directory on your hard drive. The installation program DOES NOT create any desktop icons, because it is not installing a program, but rather, just copying the image files to your hard disk drive.
