eBay User Name little*blue

As an eBay seller and sometimes buyer, I find it odd that there seems to such poor communication between buyers and/or seller.  I try to contact my buyers within hours of the time they pay.  I also let them know the time and day I will ship.  Some people probably are really too busy to do a lot of communicating, but a simple message from your eBay page, esp. on the part of sellers is prudent, to let the seller know you are aware that they have won the auction and to validate receipt of payment, etc.  I appreciate all the wonderful buyers and sellers on eBay, but there have been many times when I have made a purchase (and I am not even speaking of necessarily eBay sellers that have hundreds or more items for sale), that I do not hear from them and a month later my item is received smelling of smoke, packaged poorly, no feedback left!
