Pony Shoes - Complete Guide to Pony Shoes
Pony International, the producers of Pony Shoes, was first founded in 1972 and quickly became one of the most popular brands of athletic apparel. The chevron symbol can be found on Pony shoes, as well as on much of their apparel. Through partnerships with celebrities like Snoop Dogg, Pony has continued to expand its product offerings into streetwear.
Pony was originally known just for Pony Shoes, their line of athletic footwear. While their product line has grown, they still continue to develop new styles of Pony Shoes each year. From flip flop sandals, to leather and suede shoes, Pony has a number of styles to suit a variety of tastes and occasions.
Pony Shoes draw inspiration from retro styles, transforming them into contemporary footwear. For example, the Deflect'r combines leather and suede with nylon materials in its design. Those looking for a bolder appearance will find it in the Seca, which is accentuated by a chevron symbol in colors that contrast with the upper of the shoe. The Seca is completed with a rubber toe cap and striped design surrounding the shoe.
Pony Shoes also come in a number of styles that are designed for particular sports. Those participating in track and field events may find that the Bosi shoe provides distinctive style and comfort, with an EVA midsole to absorb shock and a rubber outsole to provide better traction. Pony's basketball shoes include both the Shooter '78 and the City Wings Low.
