Polka Dots Are Popping Up Everywhere!

She wore an itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot…well, now she can have polka dots just about anywhere. Not relegated to bikinis anymore, dots are popping up almost everywhere, especially in home decor.

The possibilities are endless; you can quite literally get something with polka dots in infinite varieties. From bedroom accessories like sheets, rugs, and curtains, to things for the kitchen like glassware, towels, and dishes, to bath accessories like shower curtains and soap dispensers. Not only can you get dots for any room in the house, you can have dots on your shoes, PJs, backpack, IPod case, and, of course, the itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow (or any other color that tickles your fancy) polka dot bikini.

Retailers across the nation and the World Wide Web are jumping on the polka dot bandwagon. Nearly every website that has things for teens has a plethora of dottie items for sale. Catering to the tween / teenage girl, PB Teen offers so many different items covered in polka dots that one cannot quite digest them all. Jewelry holders and finials for the curtain rod are some of the more unusual examples of what you can find on their website.   They really do have a great selection, although a little on the pricey side!

Then there’s every girl’s favorite store, Target. Again, the possibilities here are seemingly endless. But you can't really go to a mall, department store or even bedding website without seeing spots... err I mean dots.
