My Melisa,
2 Channel Audio consist of Antique Sound Lab AQ2002DT with MM/MC Phono, All in Tubes Line and Phono Stage, 4 Golden Tube Audio SE-40SE (Special Edition) upgraded to SE-40BB, SE-40RC, SE-40PS by Sonic Craft they are factory monoblocks at 80watts each amp., Nakamichi Dragon CT Turntable with Nakamichi MB-150 step up transformer/Nakamichi PS-100 for MC cartridge, Cartridge Supex SD-900 Super, Polk Audio SDA SRS 1.2TL speakers (tweeters upgraded to Silk Dome RD0198-1), cables are Monster Cable Z4.
Antique Sound Lab's AQ-2002DT pre-amp is tube regulated with phono stage.
The ASL AQ-2002DT is a pure Class A tube pre-amp. It uses 6 tubes for Line and Phono. For Line Section it uses 2 of 12ax7 and 2 of 12au7, For the Phono section it uses
2 of 12ax7 under the gold caps. The power supply uses 1of 5AR4 and 1of 6V6 and 1of 12ax7.
The power supply tubes are not as important to sound as the other tubes. I have tried different tubes and I have found the JJ 12ax7 to sound best in the phono and line stage. The Mullard 12au7 sound best. If I was going to retube the 12au7 and couldn't afford the Mullard I would Go with a JJ 12au7. This is what I found with ASL 2002DT.
Super rare, almost non existent!
Nakamichi Dragon CT Turntable-A Defination of Perfection!
You've watched tonearms weave while tracking a disc; you've heard; pitch vary; you've closed your eyes and listened to instruments wander in space. Perhaps you thought it was your imagination! Some days the problem seems worse than others.
It's not your imagintion, it's groove eccentricity. Records aren't perfect. Disc center holes may be too large, off center, or both. Unless you mount a disc perfectly, the groove won't be concentric with the axis of rotation, and, if the spindle hole is off center the groove eccentric no matter what you do.
As the stylus tracks an eccentric groove, it weaves back and forth changing relative speed and generating wow. And, as the stylus deflects from side to side, interchannel phase and separation may vary (so does distortion!), and instruments wander about. Even if the disc and turntable meet international standards, groove eccentricity can produce peak wow of as much as 1/2% at the inner groove--far more than you'd expect from a turntable!
DRAGON-CT solves these problems. Its Absolute Center Search System measures actual groove eccentricity and relocates the disc so that the groove is concentric within 20 microns! The procedure is automatic and takes only a few seconds. Once DRAGON-CT has relocated the disc, eccentricity wow vanishes, pitch stabilizes, and instruments remain fixed in space.
DRAGON-CT is an integrated disc-playing system designed for today's finest cartridges. It's high-rigidity, low-mass, semi-automatic tonearm has extraordinary warp-tracking abilities thanks to its precision bearings and viscous damping system. A unique double-cabinet, dual-suspension construction isolates the disc from external vibration and accoustic feedback and ensures remarkable sonic clarity. You owe it to yourself to find out how good your records can sound!
If you have a chance to own one these days go a head you will not disappointed! You won't believe the build quality! Great solid frame and foundation that is hard to find these days. You would need to spend over $10K today for the same quality and build this table has.

The next picture is the Nakamichi Tonearm TA-100. I used some tonearms for different Cartridges. Sorry in advance if you're looking to purchase one from me. Like I said, since I used some for different brands of cartridges, I don't want to part with any of the tonearms that I have left since it's convenient to have on hand if I plan to change from MC to MM.
The next picture is the detachable Power Cord, shown in the picture at the back of the Nakamichi Dragon CT turntable.
And last but not least the Nakamichi Record Holder (or Record Clamp)
