Part I: SELLING

   Why are you getting so little for your Pokemon auctions??? Where did I go wrong??? How can I fix this mistake??? Are these the annoying questions pondering through you head after all of you Pokemon auctions??? In my guide I am going to show you how to fix your auctions and how to get more money than you would ever expect to get.

   First off I would like to tell you reasons that lead your auction to disaster. Below I will show you:

• You title is too short. For example: POKEMON CARDS or even POKEMON
• You title doesn't use the word Pokemon. For Example: HUGE LOT OF CARDS
• Your price is rediculos. For Example: $99.99 for 100 common and uncommon cards
• The holos are not in sleeves
• You do not say the condition of the cards
• The description is ultra short
• Shipping is very unreasonable. For Example: $5 to ship one card
• Pictures show only parts of what your selling
• Picture is blurry or glared

   Those are just some of the reason your lots may be selling for little. Now I am going to tell you how to make the most out of all of your listings going step by step for good understanding.

   First off it the title of the item. If you are not using the word "Pokemon" in the title then you are going to get a low if at all selling price. When users are looking for Pokemon they will usually type in "Pokemon" or "Pokemon Cards." Just adding that word can make you double, triple, quadruple....... your profits. Another thing I see wrong with titles is not using all the characters. You have 55 characters so you might as well use them all. You can add more words about the item that people can search for. So change the title POKEMON HOLO CHARIZARD CARD  into  POKEMON HOLO CHARIZARD BASE CARD ULTRA RARE MINT!!!!! That can skyrocket your profits!!!!

  Second comes the description. Most people selling Pokemon right a very small description. You have unlimited characters so you might as well right something exciting. Make your listing long but not too long so people know a lot about your item and what they are about to recieve. List ultra rare cards seperatley so people can get excited about buying. Add color and different fonts when trying to say something important. Most of all be truthful. If the card is in terrible condition then don't say it is in mint. This will result in an angry buyer and negative feedback. Tell the buyer about the payment and shipping so that buyers can have a good idea on what to do when they win the item. Last but not least do not put pictures and other things everytime you make a new paragraph. this makes it hard  to focus on ready the description.

   Third is the pricing. Before you are selling something search for other items close the yours and try to get a price from that info. If you are hosting an auction then start at a low price such as $0.99 or $9.99. You may think that is too low but when people start bidding they get addicted to bidding and want to win so your sale price will most likely be higher than if you started high. Pay attention to the condition of the card. The worse the condition the lower the price should be.

   Fourth is the Picture. Everyone knows a pictures is worth a thousand words. This saying is true. when taking a picture be sure there is no glares or blurryness. People want to see what they are buying. Be sure to show everything that you are selling. Don't just show a picture of one card, bidders want to see everything. If selling a lot be sure to include more than one picture so that bidders can see more of what they are going to recieve. When taking lot pictures show all the cards in one, all the holos, and all the rares so they know what they are bidding on. If you don't have a picture in your item then sales will be very low if it even sells. People want pictures!!!!

Bad----------Good

   Last is the shipping and payment. First lets talk about shipping. If you have ever bought a single card and were being charged $3-5 for it then you are being ripped off!!! To ship one card with a DO NOT BEND stamp costs $0.52 to ship. If your shipping is too high then bidders will go off and look for another item. If you have a box and have no clue what the price is then use the calculator. It is the best way to get people a fair quote. Now on to payment. Paypal is the best way to pay for Pokemon. money orders and checks aren't th best because they take a while to recieve.

Part II: BUYING

   Most people have no idea on how to buy Pokemon the smart way. When you are buying Pokemon don't get addicted. If this happens to you then you are going to lose big money. Say you found a Charizard base card for $0.99 so you bid on it because of it's very low price. Well now that your bidding on it you don't want to look for another one and instead want to win that one. Then you will be at the last minute...... ITS OVER!!!! YOU WON!!! Wait, you just spent $30 on a card you could have bought for $15. This is the first golden rule of bidding. DON'T GET ADDICTED.

   Now that we covered that lets talk how to find deals. If you want a good deal browse around for a little until you find a good deal. If you want it then ask questions to make sure this is what you want. For resalers like me be sure to always use the worst case senerio stratigy. I you won this item and it was not as you though it would be, can you still make money back??? If you can still make a profit then is it worth the time and effort to receive that amount???

   When buying you always get a better deal when buying lots. If you went and bought ever card seperately you would end spending a lot more money. Always buy lots. Lots are you friend!!! Buy lots!!!

Part III: POKEMON MARKET

   First off I don't know if there is such a thing as a Pokemon Market but I am going to tell you how to prepare if it all a suddenly crashes. This is the day that we Pokemon resales hope never comes. I the next paragraphes I am going to tell you how to prepare for the worst. This is for people who buy and resell Pokemon cards.

   First off don't go spend $1000+ on cards. Say you won it and the next day the market crashed, now your their starring at $1000 worth of Pokemon now worth $2. When buying be careful on the ending prices, even if it is a good deal it is not going to be if the market crashes.

   Don't be one of the people who buys tons of cards and saves them for 20 years. 20 years from now Pokemon will be considered trash. I can understand you saving some but not a whole closet full.

   What I am trying to say is, be wise when buying because the downfall may be coming. Stay smart and don't blow off 1000's on Pokemon. Stick to a max of $700. This is good insurance.

Conclusion
