Please spell your DESCRIPTION TITLE WORDS correctly.
I have been a registered ebay member for 8 years now and have seen a lot of typo's generated in auction titles. If only the seller's knew about their slight error in the spelling of some words, would they realize that most buyers would never find those auctions. Below are just a few of the many typo's I have found.
1. Dianna, Princess of Whales (Should be "Diana", Princess of "Wales"). The true spelling of her name is "Diana" with one "n" and while I know the late princess loved water and loved to swim, I am doubtful she was the princess of "WHALES".
2. Diamond Neckless (Should be Diamond "Necklace"). I would think that only those whom are be-headed would be searching for actual "Neckless" items on the site.
3. Versace Bowel (Should be "Bowl"). I think Gianni would turn over in his grave if he knew sellers were trying to sell his Versace "Bowels".
As you can clearly see, there are typo's made by sellers all the time. The traffic generated to those type of auctions are far much fewer because, for example, if I were searching for a "necklace", I would never stumble upon the "diamond neckless" which sold for so cheap, leaving the seller wondering why.
While I submit this Guide in for round two, please know that I will be back to add further examples to the above.
I hope this Guide has been informative to sellers, as well as buyers who may now opt for a more wider search criteria on the site.
Kind regards,
Robb
