In my recient conversations with some serious playstaion gamers about the recient Playststion 3 launch and all the attention surrounding its release and the Profiting many are planning and have planned to make from it, I have found thousands of people who have bought up all the game consoles in a effort to make big bucks off all those poor kids and gamers who really want the system to actually play and enjoy.

I was one of the lucky 400,000 that actually got a system to use as it was intented for to play and enjoy. I was offered $2,000 for my spot in line but rejected it, because I wanted the system to enjoy and keep for myself. The question you have to ask yourself when purchasing the system is is it worth it? Sony plans to release a couple more system before Christmas and eventually many more in the early months of 2007.

Paying $2,000 to someone trying to make a 300% profit is just plan crazy. In a couple months you will get the same system, probaly a better system being that many of the new consoles have many problem and bugs for the same price. I have ran across alot of people who have hogged all the system for major profit and the system has backfired on them and they cant sell them because the people have recoginized the immorality of these sellers. Some stores only got 8 systems and one person may have hired 4 of their friends to wait in line with them to take home over half of them to profit from, leaving the real gamers literally out in the cold and at their mercy, but my how the tables have turned. At lauch the medium price of a PS3 on Ebay was around $2,200 now only 4 days later the medium price is now $1,400 with many sellers stuck with systems they can sell because they want to much for the starting price or they brag about the 3-4 systems they have turing the everyday bidder away and somewhere else.

So when looking for a PS3 look for the best price, check to see if the seller is all about the profit and wait. The price as times goes on and gets closer to Christmas the price will get lower and lower and lower..the longer you wait the better.
