I am a 120 pound woman who bought one of these to use while hanging the drywall in my workshop and garage.  When I bought mine, there were no reviews by women so I am happy to oblige and let others know this lifter works great. 

My shop ceilings are 8' and the garage is 10', I also did the two sided porch on the shop with OSB and also the carport on the garage.  I could not have done it without this lifter.  It is easy to operate, fairly lightweight and you can take it apart to go from one building to the next or just take the top off for idle times. 

Did I tell you I did not have any help?  It was just me and my Platinum lifter and we did it all.
