Planting An 'IDEA GARDEN'!

 Have you ever made a vegetable garden or watched someone else make one? Then, you're got the 'right stuff' to make an 'Idea Garden'! What is an 'Idea Garden'? It's a place where your marketable ideas can grow and flourish for years to come.

To make a successful vegetable garden, you must first select the right location; a location that is assured of getting full access to the elements: earth (soil), wind (air) and fire (sunlight).  

1) For a successful 'Idea Garden', you must do the same thing; choose a location(area of inventing) that is right for you. Your area of expertise is where you'll most likely find your 'area of inventing'. That is where you will more readily see flaws that need correcting. 

Secondly, to make a vegetable garden, you must clear the weeds and debris from the surface, to reach the rich, fertile topsoil.

2) With your 'Idea Garden', you must also clear away the 'weeds' of ignorance and confusion, as well as the "rocks' of resistance to change. Once the 'debris' of misinformation is removed, you can now allow your rich, fertile mind to receive clear, unfettered ideas.

Third, you must till the soil: dig with a shovel, scoop up the soil and turn it over. This action breaks up the soil and allows the elements to penetrate deep into the soil to nourish the seeds.

3) With your 'Idea Garden', dig down into yourself and be honest about your willingness to see your ideas through to fruition. Open your mind to new concepts and approaches to success. Help the seeds of your new ideas to grow and flourish.

Fourth, you make rows and began to plant your seeds in the clean rich soil.

4)With your 'Idea Garden', you make a list of your ideas, determining which ideas to move on first. 

Now you must protect the fruit of your garden from vermin; snails, rabbits, birds,etc.

5) With your 'Idea Garden', you also have vermin -copycatters coming after the 'fruits' of your mind. Patents, copyrights,  trademarks and trade secrets help to protect you.

As you experience success with your vegetable garden, there is usually an abundance of fruit and vegetables. Sharing is an important part of gardening, so share freely with others.

6) As your 'Idea Garden' grows, it will flourish beyond your wildest dreams. Share your knowledge and your wealth.

With your vegetable garden, when the season is over, the soil is prepared for the next season.
