With the warmer weather approaching, many of us will embark once again on our weekend estate and tag sale excursions. Of course, this is very exciting but it can be quite stressful!
Here is a list of things to obtain before the new season arrive so that you will be well prepared for nearly everything.
Get a good tote bag. Preferably as large a bag as you can find with 2 handles, open topped and durable/washable I have an oversized LL Bean bag that is perfect and I recomend it or any other bag that is similar. It's canvas, washable and roomy.
Pack your tote some real essentials, Your bag should be stocked, get some real basics and you will be prepared for most anything! Keep at least 3-5 trash bags in it, more if needed in the car for back up (a postive thought I realize but, you never know) and newspaper to wrap smalls in.
Then, fill up a smaller bag, like a plastic shopping bag or something, so it can be added to your tote and then removed or searched easily as needed. It should contain some real must haves including anti bacterial hand gel, wet wipes, flashlight, magnifying glass, at least 1 bottle of water or beverage and small zip lock bags.
Your tote can also come in handy to carry things around as you shop too.
Finally, keep some things in your glove box. You should have a pain reliever like Tylenol or something, ant-acids, gum and a snack!
Hope this helps, I am willing to add other great tips you might have.
Thanks!
MJ
