          Whiz Kids has announced the release of a new expansion set for it's Pirates of....  collectable card game.

Packs will contain: 2 Long Boats(See picture above)-or sailing ships,1 treasure or crew card,1 iceberg/island card,1 game rules sheet,1die(d6-color unknown)-$3.99 (pack price).

This time you can really "shiver" your timbers.As you navigate longboats past perilous icebergs.And try to control the Wintery seas as frost bearded Vikings.So man your long boats this February.Icebergs and fortune await those hardy enough to be a Pirate of the Frozen North!

New treasure called Runes affect Iceburgs in play.(#096) Runes of Odin: loaded face down,when revealed-put an Iceburg into play from outside the game,any where in play(But not touching an Island). If it touches a ship,remove that ship,treasure,and her crew from the game.Runes of Odin is removed from the game.(#097) Runes of the Serpent:allows you to dock at an Iceburg.On your next turn you may dock at any other Iceburg,and still have a move action,remove Runes of the Serpent from the game.(Takes up 1 cargo space)
