We have had many people questioning if the CD-R55 will work with their AVH-P5700DVD. We have noticed that this remote control will work with 06 and up Pioneer Video / DVD units although Pioneer does not list this on their website.

We have many DVD units on our display and went ahead and put this CD-R55 to the test and wooala! it worked. Now, keep in mind this remote will have buttons that will be useless, but since the CD-R5 is so hard to come by, this will be a good alternative. It controls the power, volume, skip tracks etc.. All major functions of your Pioneer '06 up model DVD video unit.

The unit takes a 3V CR2025 Lithium battery (one is included with a purchase of a brand new one)

The Remote Control Operation Switch: You can operate multiple components at once, using the 3 way switch on the right side of the remote.
AVH: when operating an A/V receiver, such as AVH-P4900DVD or AVH-P5900DVD
