NOTE: This is an old guide and needs to be updated as photobucket has change its format.  Check back later and I will work on fixing it to be more accurate.

This guide is to help you upload pictures to your PhotoBucket account.  You can then use these pictures for the groups or boards (or your listings).  It is mainly directed at posting pictures to the groups for siggies or other uses.

First, if you haven't already done so, you will need to have a PhotoBucket account (there are many hosting sites out there -- this just happens to be the one I use.  I am not in anyway affiliated with them other than using their site for hosting my photos.).

Next, follow the steps outlined in the pictures that follow.

Once you have your PB account click on browse (you will need to know where your picture is stored).

Look for your picture, once you have found it click on it, then click open...

Your image will now be listed as text in the Images to Upload box.  Click on the upload button.

You will see they have been uploaded when you get this message in red with a yellow bar.  This means you are now ready to start putting your picture on the group discussions.

Next, to post to the groups... You will use your mouse to left click on the third link down. (Don't use the second link for posting to discussion groups, as you become more experienced you may use it, but for now - don't worry about it, and the first one is for emailing.)  Once you left click, PB automatically copies for you.  Now, go to the group discussion you want to place your picture.  You have two ways to paste - first way: use your mouse to right click, then chose paste image / second way, control+v (you need to hold down the control button, while pressing the "v" key)

...And that's all there is to it.  You have successfully uploaded your picture to your hosting site and then in turn placed it out there for others to see.

****Important note:  Make sure your file name is not too long, try to keep it to no greater than 10 characters.  If you try to post something and get a red 'X' you probably have too many characters.  Go back and change your file name to something shorter so that eBay will accept it.

I hope that you have found this to be useful as you are learning your way around eBay.

Good Luck to you!

(My apologies about the picture size, eBay system only allows this size at the moment)
