Beware of fake Philosophy Products.

IF YOUR CONSIDERING BUYING PHILOSOPHY ON EBAY PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO READ THIS.

I have been using Philosophy for the last 3 years now and I LOVE IT.  BUT beware of FAKE items.  I bought my 1st items from QVC, then Philosophy direct, after that I thought I would try and save a few $$$$s buy buying on eBay.

As im sure your aware there is LOTS of it on here. So i did I bought some bath products and also the very famous Hope in a Jar, which is all I have used for the past 3 yrs!! The 1st lot i bought was ok, no problems, then I purchased Purity Hope in a Jar and Hope in a Tube, the seller was a PowerSeller so I trusted the items. They arrived and I thought that the Hope in a Jar looked a little different, pearlescent looking and when I applied it to my face it felt odd but smelt genuine, i found that everytime I applied my eyes would water and slighty burn also I had started to get a few spots around my mouth, which I dont usually get so I threw it away and stupidly went srtaight back to search listings for another bargain!!! Another jar arrived and it was the same!!""£"""!"£%£^%$!  so far one 2oz jar had cost me not only burning eyes, spots and probably no actual treatment but also $45 and an actual jar from Philosophy direct is only $38 the words FALSE ECONOMY spring to mind!!!.  So this weekend I threw out all the Philosophy I had bought from eBay and purchased the actual items, what a relif to know what im putting on my face is the genuine thing with no horrible side effects.  Now im not saying there are no genuine Philosophy products on eBay but I know from my own experience that they are definatley out there.

A lot of sellers are purchasing Philosophy items from CHINA!!! I mean CHINA, its made and packaged here in Arizona. I wish i could tell you to ask certain questions to make sure what you were bidding on was genuine, but ive tried the relevant questions and basically it seems like "pot luck", what I can tell you is it does not burn or irritate your skin or eyes in anyway at all so if your does chances are its FAKE!

ARE YOU WILLING TO RISK YOUR SKIN!!!! I know im not anymore, from now on I will only purchase from Philosophy direct, Sephora or QVC.

Hope this helps

Samantha
