Having a pet is great – they never talk back – they are loyal - they're great company but all that goes out the window on a rainy day when your lovable pet hops in the back seat of your car or SUV sopping wet from a rainy or snowy day.
I used to cover the seats with dog pet blankets that doubled as pet car seat cover. What a pain! They slipped around and never quite did the trick. My dog's wet and muddy paws always seemed to find the places that the blanket didn't cover. I was still stuck with cleaning the mud and all that endless dog hair on the back seat.
About one year ago, I bought my first pet hammock and I haven't looked back.
Easy To Install
Pet Hammocks for cars and SUVs easily attach to the back seat of the car. It has 4 buckles - 2 attach to the front seat head rests and 2 attach to the back seat head rests - creating a cradle affect. Not only is it comfortable (at least it LOOKS comfortable), from a safety perspective it creates a barrier for the pet to stay in the back seat.
Different Styles / Colors
They come in beige/tan as well as black /grey. I opted for - and in hind sight prefer - the grey/black one as it hides the dirt better. I wash the pet hammock monthly – more often in the spring. It washes and dries very well. Mine has a faux sheep wool which is nice and soft. Other brands that I looked at were made of stiff materials.
Waterproofing
Just to be sure that the water from my wet soggy dog doesn't seep through, I sprayed my pet hammock with a scotch guard type spray.
Easy Transformation
Now if I 'm driving with friends, I am no longer embarrassed about letting them sit in the back seat. I just remove the hammock, toss it in the trunk and my pet carrying car transforms into a clean passenger carrier!
Where to Get Them
I have recommended them to friends regularly as it has become a time saver for me. Now as a firm believer in the product I carry it in my eBay store. It's a great must have for any dog owner!
