Peruvian Alpacca:
Alpacca (Alpacca silver, A.L.P, ALPACCA PRIMA N.S) is a common nickel alloy containing copper, nickel, zinc and tin. In the 19th century, Alpacca was the tradename created by Berndorf AG., Austria for his nickel silver alloy, but it has since become a generic name for nickel silver. Since one of the most common metal allergies is to nickel, none of the nickel alloys including alpacca are hypoallergenic.Alpaca is domesticated South American mammal, related to the llama and having fine, long wool.
Other Nickel Alloys:

Others may include a small amount of iron to make them whiter and harder. A common nickel alloy in jewelry is Alpacca.Hope this helps you find what you want on eBay! Mona - © 2006 beadhappys
