Choosing the right self defense tool can be a very challenging task!  Never fear - that is why we are here to help you.  My name is Joe, and I am a Police Defensive Tactics Instructor and Rape Risk Reduction trainer.  Since 1999 I have been training Police Officers and Soldiers to use every level of force from Inter-Personal Communications to Deadly Force.

Pepper Spray is the second level where you use somthing other than your body (voice or hands) to control another person.   We recommend TASER first. 

• Voice Commands
• Open Hand Control
• TASER Electronic Control Devices
• Pepper Spray
• Strikes and Stuns (hands, feet, batons and stun devices)
• Lethal Force (fire arms, strikes to the head and throat)

I don't need to tell you that there are litterally hundreds of people out there who know nothing about this stuff but somehow get there hands on cheap products and use hype and tales of violence to get you to buy there stuff.  I will admit that the world isn't getting much more safe, but you won't find cheap sprays or any other cheap products on any of my sites.  I actually use what I sell!

But what should you buy?

• TASERs are the best option to control another person.  The use a safe amount of electricity in the safe shape as a nerve impulse to effect sensory and motor control nerves.  The essentially cause the body to "lock up."  The TASER C2 is designed to be used an attacker and left behind.  The "ride" is 30 seconds - giving you plenty of time to escape.
• Pepper Spray is the best option for overall control from a distance.  Most of the Sprays I carry have a range of between 8-15 feet.  Don't listen to the hype about buying nothing less than 10%.  Thats a marketing gimic.  As a cop and instructor I am here to tell you that the 2% stuff Fox Labs (Google search them) makes is the best stuff on the market.  It dropped me like bag of rocks! 
• Stun Guns.  They look and sound great.  I would suggest getting one of these for the house.  The only problem with them is you have to touch the person.  If you are going to get one I don't suggest anything under 300,000 volts.  Infact 600,000 is what I would get.  I sell a great SP-300 (Scorpion Stun Light) you should take a look at.
• Batons.  Unfortunately I can't sell these on eBay and cant tell you where I do, look around you'll figure it out ;-)  These things are the best for really defending your self.
• Knives and Wild Kat Key Chains.  Obviously if you are defending your self with a knife or other sharp object deadly force is authorized.  I carry litterally thousands of knives.  Let me know what you are looking for.
