Most sellers give Combined Shpping Discount of some degree when buying 2 or more items.

This should be stated in their listing somewhere. Most of the time this is not an automatic process through eBay.

eBay is just like any web site where you can place your items in your "Shopping Cart" before you check-out.

In order to get your "Shipping Discount", it must be applied BEFORE YOU PAY. You need to ask the seller for an updated invoice.

PayPal has to be used by all sellers now. PayPal charges sellers to collect the payment.

Every payment made to PayPal, they get $0.30  plus a " %" of the total amount.

If you buy 4 items from the same seller and pay for each item as you buy it, the seller has been charged $1.20 (30 x 4).

If you buy 4 items and ask for Combined Shipping, they are charged $0.30  plus that "%" for the one payment.

PayPal makes enough money. So Please ask for your Shipping Discount to keep that extra money away from PayPal.
