Seller!  Don't Make This Mistake!  Protect Yourself from Fraudulent Buyers...

Using a USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL Delivery Confirmation Receipt insures you sent your buyer an item and protects you from liars and cheats.

Ever had someone CLAIM they did NOT receive the Item or Items you sent them?  If it happens to you, you need to know how to protect yourself and KNOW how PayPal handles the Buyer's Claim that they did not receive an item.

Most people try to take the easiest and least expensive method to send SOLD items to purchasers.  Rarely do people purchase INSURANCE, and even FEWER SELLERS pay the additional cost of a USPS DELIVERY CONFIRMATION RECEIPT.

You may have received POSITIVE FEEDBACK from the Buyer already, you may have even received Email Confirmation that the Buyer received your item, but if they put in a claim that they did NOT receive your item, you need to have DELIVERY CONFIRMATION, regardless of which Delivery Method you use.  UPS, FedEx and DHL offer electronic Delivery Confirmation with signature, but if you send via Postal Service, you MUST request Delivery Confirmation or you may be at risk of having your PayPal Account debited from a fraudulent claim of Non-Delivery!

I have sold Many Items via Ebay and used PayPal for most transactions.  I believe in three things:  Using USPS works very well as long as my items are packaged VERY well, I like to use Priority Mail with three day delivery (many packages are only $8.10 regardless of weight) and I use Delivery Confirmation with return receipt, signed by the buyer when the package arrives.  It can SAVE you if someone ever claims you DID NOT send their merchandise.

Protect yourself, use SMART Selling Techniques and know that if PayPal ever questions you, you will have the documentation needed to prove you DID ship your item, and it WAS received by the Buyer.  While most transactions are SAFE and people are generally Trustworthy, there will always be a small percentage that use FRAUD to make their money on YOUR BACK!  Add an extra $1 or so to your Shipping Costs when you list your item, and make sure you get Delivery Confirmation.
