It seems I have been an active member on e-bay for over 8 years. I have sold over 5000 items, and have over 3000 positive feedbacks. I have a a 99.5 positive feedback rating.
I say all that to share this guide with you:
1: PayPay seems to me to have a buyer friendly charge back policy. They will charge you back for even the slightest mis leading label or discription.
A: Stay away from words such as "like" "Almost" "Not Included"
a: These and other words mislead the smartest of minds, and can get you an instant charge back.
2. PayPal seems to me to send you validation to ship without verification:
A In a recent transaction I listed a LapTop for $650 Buy It Now. It was purchased and paid for instantly. It was a valid PayPal address out of the USA. I emailed PayPal to verify with card holder the correct address for mailing. They Did, and As I prepared to ship the buyer asked me to overnight it and sent a more than generous payment to do so. Can you say RED Flag?
I went thru ebay to get the contact information and called the ebay user who was different than the one who bid and won. The Ebay User who lived in the States and had not used ebay for over a year, who contacted PayPal and with out notice froze the funds of the purchase on my PayPal account and several other poor suckers who already shipped items.
PayPal told me to try to get my Lap Top back, but can't help me with that. Lucky for me I did what PayPal was supposed to do, Verify Large sales over $50, and over $20 out of the USA.
I am not saying do not sell international! I have alot of international buyers who pay a premium to ship to them. , But do your due diligence.
PayPal seems to me to always give a benifit of the doubt to the buyer, so alays get Delivery Conformation on all items over $5.00. PayPal charges .18 cents to add theis on thru PayPal Shipping. A small insurance policy for peace of mind.
Later I will share some selling benifits.
Good Night and God Bless!
