Today I had a experience with a buyer that taught me a good lesson I am going to pass on.
I sent to the UK an item which was sent Global Priority Mail. This service does not offer insurance. I offer insurance to the buyer and self insure if they chose insurance.
The item was lost and the buyer did not purchase insurance.
She then disputed it with pay pal and would have been given her money back as there is no tracking to prove I sent it.
She acknowledged that she did think I sent it but was going to pursue her refund via pay pal because she could. I explained that pay pal would take it from me. She didn't care. She said I should have insured it myself then.
Well from now on I put insurance required.
What is the point of offereing insurance if the person opts not to buy it and if it is not delivered then they feel they can get their money back via paypal...
Hope this helps you if you send a non trackable product.
Pay pal will never cover any item that does not have a tracer on it.
