Q. How much gas will a patio heater use?
A. All our Garden Sun models have pilot control so you decide how high or low you want the heat. You'll find the best way to use a patio heater is to warm the area up and then reduce the heat to your comfort zone. Under normal use a cylinder will last 16 hours or about 2-4 weeks depending on the weather.

Q. Are all patio heaters the same?

Q. How easy are patio heaters to use?

Q. I don’t know anything about gas, how do I get gas?
A. Propane gas is easily acquirable from many supermarkets, gas stations, convenience stores ad hardware stores such as Home Depot / Lowes.

Q. Can I leave my patio heater outside all the time?
A. In the spring, summer and fall it is no problem – however in the winter time we recommend to remove the hood and place the patio cover on this way to ensure maximum longevity and craftsmanship.


Q. What happens if my patio heater is accidentally knocked over?
A. In the event your Garden Sun Patio Heater is accidentally knocked over our unit will automatically shut off the gas supply when it is tipped beyond a 30 Degree angle.

Q. How hard is assembly?
A. Assembly is simple! We provide step by step instructions and pictures in case you hit any road blocks. The only tools required are a 7/16” open end wrench, Philips screwdriver, and crescent/adjustable wrench. It should take anywhere from 15-25 minutes depending upon user ability.
