PARTYLITE SNOW GLOBES - What you need to know about the motors and proper storage when not in use. 

The highly collectible Partylite snow globes are beautiful Christmas pieces with unique built in snow blowers.  There is only one problem with them.  They MUST be stored UPSIDE DOWN or on their SIDES when not in use. 

Why you may ask?  If it is not properly stored,  the snow will settle over time and build up in the blower motor,  settling too far down into the area where the snow blows from.  Thus causing the motor to fail and the globe to be rendered a very expensive paper weight.  Many people are not aware of this potential problem. 

Years ago,  on the first issue globes,  Partylite discovered the problem and had to replace hundreds of them.  Whether you already own one or plan to buy one,  make sure you protect and prevent damage to your blower by properly storing it when not in use.  If these measures are taken,  you will probably have good luck with your globe for an eternity.
