The PartyLite Mosaic 3-wick bowl
This piece is a wide mouthed, nearly flat, tray-like bowl. It was made for only a few years and we have only found that it shipped out in the plain brown box (see our first PartyLite Guide for more details on packaging). It features BLACK, not blue lines with lustre colors ranging from pale yellow to green, blue, grey and deep red. It measures approximately 13 inches across, and only a few inches high. It's really more of a plate than a bowl, with a slightly flattened circle on the bottom. An authentic piece should include a grey sticker with the old style logo, indicating it was made in Romania, not China. This is an authentic PartyLite Piece. The PartyLite Mosaic Candle Holder / Rose Bowl
Here's the biggest problem child in the PartyLite collection. Many manufacturers created a rose bowl in a size and shape very similar to the PartyLite Mosaic Candle Holder. The official name of the piece never contained the words "rose bowl" or "candle bowl". The authentic piece included a straight sided clear glass votive cup, that had an almost unfinished appearance to the top edge (not an oyster cup, with flared edges). It was shipped in the white, brown, grey, and green packaging, and could feature either the old logo or the new, but both should indicate it was made in Romania. The piece above is the authentic PartyLite piece.

The PartyLite Tiffany Tealight Holder
Manufactured to match the similarly styled goblet candle holder, this piece is the only piece in the mosaic collection that did not bear the "mosaic" name. This piece is not usually imitated because of the additional time it takes to shape the glass. You can see that this piece also shipped in a white "generic" box with the old style logo. The PartyLite Mosaic Bubble Holder
This was a very short lived piece in the collection. It was in the catalog for about a year. Part of the problem with the holder was the design. People couldn't tell which end was up! The glass is rarely swirled up to the top of the piece, making it look as though the top should be the bottom, because the swirls run all the way to the "bottom" of the piece. Consequently, many people inverted the holder and set the tealight on what they thought was the "pedestal" inside. Further, PartyLite already had a very popular mosaic style tealight holder - the Tiffany! As a result, sales waned, and the piece was pulled. This is a harder to come by piece, but not as popular as the tiffany. We have never seen it copied, and should only be available in the mint green packaging. What About The PartyLite Mosaic "Votive" cup?
Again with the misnomers! PartyLite made a mosaic cup for the Chandelier, but it was only offered with the chandelier, and briefly as a replacement piece. It is erroneously called a "votive" cup, but the 2000 PartyLite catalog indicates clearly that it is for tealights only, which is half the reason these votive cups were damaged so often. The thin glass was not designed to hold the heat from the prolonged burn of a votive candle. As such, when we designed our popular replica, we thickened the bottom of the glass slightly to be able to withstand the heat and allow you to enjoy votives once again. These are the only unstemmed candle holders in the authentic PartyLite Mosaic Collection. we will be featuring the shades and stemware in upcoming guides.
