I pack most all my art the same way. Whether $20.00 or $2000.00 item with at least 2 of the above ways. First brown paper then foam , then Stiff foam, then sometimes bubble wrap or more foam. Foam can be found at furniture rental places free, many times the stiff foam too. If not Lowes sell a 4'x8' sheet of stiff foam for $12. I do NOT put the bubble wrap directly against the item if a painting without glass but the put the stiff foam first! I used recycled cardboard too. No one will ever ask me to wrap a x-mas package because sometimes boxes aren't too square But I have never had a single return or broken glass. Although best not to include glass in larger items more than about 16"x20" or especially if item has a metal chrome art frame. These have a tendency to let the glass stiff so can easily be broken!
