LESSON 2 - BECOMING A PACKING PRO!
In Lesson 1, we said it is easy to pack correctly. Doing a VGPJ (abbreviation for very good pack job!) assures a quality perception and utmost satisfaction of your clients. Since there are no guarantees in life and in shipping, the packer must do his part and hope the shippers do theirs.
VGPJ photo 1
Here we have two items (dynaudio 24W75) (one shown only) ready to ship. We will demonstrate with one, later adding the second item to the package for combined shipping. Two layers of plastic grocery bags (remember the three R's) are used. This will protect this fine product from the taping mess I will inflict upon it.

The plastic bags secure, we are ready for step two
VGPJ photo 3
Carefully bubble wrap the precious items (I love this stuff for audio electronics) with cardboard stiffener board and wings. You will understand in the next step.
VGPJ photo 4
It is easy to see that with the stiffener boards and wings, these items will be centered in the box, letting the box act as a buffer zone, and hopefully avoiding potential bumps in the shipping road ahead!
VGPJ photo 5
I love shredded paper the most for my packing jobs. Free, it is delivered to my (and your) mail box in the form of newspapers, flyers, bills, etc.., helping us do our part for this planet. And the best thing is, it is FREE!
VGPJ photo 6
I have faced both of these woofers, figuring that the cone area is the most vulnerable. Next, more shredded paper will cushion further these fine items.
VGPJ photo 7
The first box is sealed at all open edges. We are now ready to pack these items into the other box.
VGPJ photo 8
The second box has a layer of shredded paper. We will drop the first box into it, making sure it is centered, then more shredded paper will protect both sides of the second box, shielding the first one.
VGPJ photo 9
The tools put away, it is nice to see the double boxed items secure in their shipment container. Now one hopes they arrive safe and sound to their destination. With a tracking # and insurance of item value, and delivery/and/or signature confirmation (this is a cheap item) the seller and the buyer are protected in this most satisfying transaction. Indeed, this is a satisfying moment! Time for a hot (or cold) beverage for a job well done! Was this so hard?

A veritable treasure trove of packing material is available to you if you look and ask.
This is my car trunk full of FREE pack material from a local business dumpster.

The best thing about Lesson 2 - Pack like a Pro! Pack to Impress! is the price of admission. FREE. GRATIS. NO CHARGE. Ok the sticky tape costs a few dollars! We are reducing, reusing and recycling items discarded by others. Photo 10 shows what one trip to a dumpster brought in packing supplies! These boxes are the foundation of a good pack job. They are the building blocks of your shipment reputation. Found in a local business dumpster near you. In all shapes and sizes.
This is the final lesson. If you have read both guides, congratulations!
