If you want to get rid of or "tame" body hair growth this may be useful advice for using our set of three shavers and trimmers for safe and gentle removal of any pubic or body hair especially the really sensitive areas "down there"

Tips and hints for pubic hair removal

Shaving is one of the most effective, convenient and lowest cost ways of removing hair and there is no truth in the rumor that shaved hair grows back thicker.

Waxing and epilating is painful and can cause skin infections and disoloration of the skin. Laser would be good apart from having to have multiple treatments at huge cost and again there is the real possiblitiy of permanent skin damage and discoloration.  Deplilatory cremes are messy and the checicals have a foul odor which can also damage sensitive skin.

Always shave before washing and ensure the skin is completely dry and free from perspiration. When wet the skin swells and the hair shaft gets covered. Once the skin dries out and contracts the hair reappears causing the roughness of unshaved skin to return far too quickly. This is why wet shaving can never produce the long lasting smoothness that most people desire.

You can get really smooth results is you use a silicone lubricant to soften the hair prior to shaving. We suggest our premium Sinsation skin lube. Do not confuse this with lubes that are nearly all water and dry out easily. Why would you pay good money for water anyway? Our lubricant is skin safe for any part of the body including the intimate areas and can be used also as an intimacy enhancer. Our 200ml size is up to 50% cheaper than other brands. You can try it out for FREE.

Some pubic shaver sellers recommend talc or cornstarch to be applied before shaving. Talc is ground rock and will blunt your shaver blades, maybe thats why they rcommend this as it allows them to sell you spare blades and foils sooner.  Worse still id the fact that both Talcum and Cornstarch can cause yeast infections and urethral problems if the powder gets "inside".
For the above reasons we know for a fact that you should not use either.

Always trim the hair to be removed, to a fine stubble using a trimmer or scissors. This makes the hair stand away from the skin and allows the hair shaft to enter the foil to be cut by the Hair eRazor to make the skin smooth.

Always use slow circular motions to best remove hair when shaving with a foil shaver. Moving the shaver too fast will result in hair not being cut properly or as close as you would like.

Always stretch the skin to be shaved and shave against the direction of hair growth. Alternatively you can pinch up the skin into a fold and shave the hair with the shaver at a 90 degree angle.

Always clean your Hair eRazor after use and make sure to place couple of drops of shaver oil on the underside of the foil. This is very important and cannot be overemphasized. The blades may not rotate if clogged with hair or if the foil is not oiled. Do not let the surplus shaver oil get on the skin as this will cause a rash. You can also use the Sinsation personal lubricant to replace the shaver oil and this has the added benefit of being skin safe.

If the shave is not as smooth as you would like it may be that the Hair eRazor blades need adjustment.  You can adjust the height of the blades to ensure proper contact with the foil. If you unscrew the foil from your Hair eRazor, you will see the three blade rotor with a small screw in the center. With a flat blade screwdriver, like those used for work on eyeglasses, turn the screw to the right (clockwise) by half turns until, with the foil back on again, you hear a slight hesitation when the shaver is turned on. Also the blades will stop almost immediately when the shaver is turned off. This will be the correct height for optimal shaving.
