This is one of the most difficult subjectc man kind has had to go through. Should I or should I not buy the playstation portable (Hereby refered to as PSP). I have owned this system and loved it. While some were not so happy. 

A. Media Quality.

The video quality when converted depending on the size turns out horrible. I converted a music video once and the video was horribly pixalated. There are ways to fix this I am sure. While on the other hand it plays Mp3s just fine. But If you want something to play music. I suggest spending the money on a iPOD nano instead of going out and buying the PSP.

B. Games

I like most of the games sony made for the psp. I loved some of them Game informer put down. Death Jr. For example. I also really liked Exit. Others werent so great I would advise not buying Medievil Ressuruction it gets old.But I still Really liked most of the games.

C.Everything else.

UMDs with movies on them? Buy a portable dvd player. It is a better buy if your traveling. Accesorries. If you travel buy a car charger. Other then that you can live without the rest. Replacement charger. From sony... VERY EXPENSIVE. Most of the rest you can do yourself.

My concusion.

Only buy the psp for the games. If you want the rest of the stuff there are better alternatives. Also look into a DS if the psp is a little expensive for you.
