After the all hype, it's finally almost over. After waiting days in rain/snow/freezing weather/wind etc.. The Sony PlayStation 3 let everyone down, even alot of gamers. I am a gamer & a seller.

PS2 Launch - Around Christmas -Lucky to find one under $1500.00

X-Box Launch - Around Christmas - Lucky to find one between $1300-1700

PSP- Launch - Lucky around a grand or so

X-Box 360 Launch - Last Christmas - REAL LUCKY to find one under $3000.00

PS3 Launch - This Christmas - LUCKY to get rid of it while making no profit because of scam buyers & having to re-list so much - Average Price Now?? 60gb $700-800   20gb $500-650

So what happened? I suppose everyone turned to the Nintendo Wii, which we own & have sold aswell. Quite fun, but average price? Around $500

Shoulda stood them 11 hours for wii's instead of days for the PS3 is what im now thinking. We had 6 PS3's, 4 60gb's & 2 20gb's. I kept one & tried to sell the rest. After 3 scammers, I have totally lost alot of money promoting & waiting to get my money back. I probably lost around 5-6 hundred.

What is this to say about the holiday markets anymore?? Sure on Launch day, if you was lucky they brought a premium but slacked off wayyyy ever since. Also the Elmo TMX that was so wanted and described on eBays front page, people are pretty much giving them away & we took 2 back w/ our reciept & just got a refund.

What went wrong this holiday season??? Maybe we all got to greedy or the world is catching on all this online auction mark-up prices.. Scalpers, they were calling us at other websites..

Dont feel bad if you lost money, I think we all lost lots of time & money that we could have used for our families - eBay could have atleast allowed a free re-list with all the scam bidders that were/are around. I learned alot from this & will still sell variants, collectors items, games/movies & sometimes something that is hot, if I can get it the same time as it is hot (which now-a-days is like 3-5 days). I have waisted enough time from my family & I will now get back in the christmas spirit & wait till after christmas to see if anything changes.
