You see eBay & PayPal have guidelines in place that if they will never contact you.If they do it will be through your inbox on this site only. It goes with any of thier listing specials, changes, or any other matter.
Paypal never contacts you at all. You contact them with any issues.
Now there are simple measures that you can take to protect yourself.
1st: NEVER REPLY TO THE MESSAGE
2nd: Go to your messages on eBay and check. With Paypal you click on resolution center tab.View any disputes open cases. If none are found there. Then it is a phishing/spoof email.
Next: Either delete the message immediately or you can forward the message to either spoof at ebay dot com or the same with spoof at PayPal. Then delete the message.
You can tell in the message there are typos and other logos. PayPal at bottom will have a space in it.
You as a buyer or seller know what you have bought or sold. Also some of the item # used is ridiculous.
Listen I get at least 3 a day. Saying we need to update your info, your account suspended, the disputes, & what ever other trick that can be pulled for you to click on a link. So don't fall for it because you know you did nothing wrong. Once they got your info they got it.
Don't make the mistakes I made. That why I'm writing this. I had to get 2 new bank cards to be on the safe side. That is why I also wrote my guide about get a PayPal check Card and save + build credit.
Also I recommend that you do get a seperate bank account for eBay. Most jobs will split your direct deposit 3 times. So you can put $20 bucks into a checking and avoid fees. Use like a Christmas Fund Account put it is for eBay. I even wrote a guide on that as well.
Well I hope this helped you all. That is why I tell everyone to contact me here unless I really know them. To all the phishers go phish the oil companies making as people pay these prices. Not us people that are just trying to make it in this world.
If this help click yes for me.
thanks,
