The worlds most efficient marketplace - eBay !

Where should you buy your jewelry from?

GEMaffair is a good place to start.

Well, clearly the internet offers more selection than ANY brick and mortar store could possibly handle. The internet provides a space for you to browse without being hassled, or "taken care of" by salespeople who are out to make a commission. The internet gives you the opportunity to look at an item HUNDREDS of times before making the purchase, and you never have to leave the comfort of your own home.

But is the internet really the best place for prices? How can internet jewelry sellers like GEMaffair provide the same great jewelry at such a low price without going out of business?

The old pricing model

Let us explain to you how pricing works...

SCENARIO A. Manufacturers of jewelry (many times they are located in a different country!) sell to a wholesaler here in the states who can distribute their products. This distributer, in turn, sells to a second wholesaler who is located in a particular area of the country. Who sells to a third wholesaler who is in your local area. Who sells to a FOURTH wholesaler, which would be like the store you walk into. Who sells to you. And at each sale, a profit is made... bumping the price tag up along the way... So you can see how the price is going to be affected!

The new pricing model

SCENARIO B. Manufacturers of jewelry sell to GEMaffair. GEMaffair sells to YOU direct. Again, you can see how the price is going to be affected! Most definitely to YOUR advantage.

Sellers on eBay can provide the same products and the same great service, they just don't have to mark the prices up as much as the brick and mortar business's.

You can thank Al Gore for inventing the internet. We do every day ;-)

DO your research, read the sellers policy and then make your bid !
