POTTERY manufacturing of potter object and protection of founded objects
The practicality of this project lays in saving the cultural inheritance by motivating the local craftsmen to manufacture untypical for current conditions, potter objects which were used by the older civilisations and which would have comercial value and would automatically improve he work conditions and the survival of this handycraft.
MACEDONIA Kicevo Vranestica
From the founded big jars with undetermined age (assumption 1800 to 2200 years) which were used for storing of wheat and products, not one copy has been made, because the way of production was almost forgotten due to advertising of other smaller objects with comercial value. The conditions for work are primitive: stove of clay and straw, wooden wheel, moving by leg, small wood pieces for roasting and hand machine for grinding the clay.
Because of the low height of the stoves, adjusted for small pots, it's inpossible to roast, easily and quality, a jar with dimensions 80-50, like the ones that were found near the village.Manufacturing of these bigger pots demands and extra elements like: special wheel, specific mixing of few types of big quantity of clay grinding the clay with electrical machine, bigger quantity of wood for roasting due to increased roasting time; expanding of the stove; drying of the prepared material in a dryer; more colors for decorating; transport constructions for the pots, etc.
Diversity in manufacturing is poorly expressed with only 10 pots, even though in the wider surrounding were found 470 small and big pots, from 2500 years ago, up to now. These 470 valuable art peaces would become educational subject matters for the next generations , if they would have been made as copyes, that would become suplemental element for the tourist needs, besides the objects that are being manufactured every day.
More financies would be used and for introducing the past through brochures, publications, movies movies for the founded objects and their proper treatment and financing of research works at this wealt place with archeological finds.
