You can make your own playdough with just a few items you probably have in your kitchen!!  the following recipie can be doubled for twice the fun!! you will need:

                                           1 cup flour

                                            1 water

                                            1cup salt

                                             1 tablespoon cream of tartar

                                              food coloring

let your little artist help you mix four ,water,salt and cream of tartar in  a pan. if you want colored dough add food coloring to the water before  you  mix in the rest of the ingredients.

next have an ADULT put the pan over low heart and stir until the dough forms a ball.

remove the pan from the stove, dump the ball on a cutiing board and knead the dough until its plyable and smooth.

for sculpting and creating provide utensils, cookie cutters, rolling pin, plastic knife and lots of imagination!!
