For those of you who found a helpful hint from my original Guide on Pesky Paper Punches...You will LOVE This!
For those of you who missed the first Guide - a quick recap: When your paper punches are sticking, keep a sheet of wax or parchment paper stored with your punches and when you find the punches are not releasing"smoothly", punch the wax paper a few times and it will wax up your paper punch for smooth cut-outs!
NOW! A tip that I have come across that is my own helpful craft hint! When you find that the punches dull and the paper is either torn or the cut-out is not complete...we have the solution! I have only tried this once but it workled wonders!
Ready.....OK...along with the parchment sheet you now keep with your paper punches that stick, Add a sheet of fine gauge sandpaper (400 is good) and when the punches are again behaving pesky of a different manner and have been dulled from all of the punching...punch a few cuts into the sandpaper and it will sharpen the edges of the paper punch.
Gone are the days of a disposable paper punch! Never have to replace one again! Two simple household items can save your craft punches and save you as well!
