PLEASE READ! I HAVE RECEIVED A LOT OF THESE LATELY!! Scams have been around for a long time but here's the latest one:  I've received some offical looking email's from "Ebay" about paying my monthly statement and it listed every transaction for the past month. As I said the emails were very official looking statements from "Ebay" and since most Ebay users use PAYPAL to pay their monthly statement you will login and on the invoice there will be a place for you to login and pay your monthly fees with PayPal or pay with a credit card.

This is a very authentic looking Paypal login page and looks like what all people who use PayPal are use to seeing. After you enter the account  and use your email and password to login you are looking at empty page or you may be asked to provide additonal information to verify who you are, birth date, social security number, etc.. What you have just done is furnish some individual with access to your PayPal account and all of your banking information and a whole lot of other personal information!

If by chance this has happened to you here's the first step: CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS! Not only on PayPal but on Ebay too!! Login on the Ebay page, and on the left column of the page (and this is probably your most secure link) access your Paypal account and change your password, then change your Ebay password! Contact PayPal and Ebay and let them know what has happened. You should always access your PayPal account from your Ebay page when paying for something and checking your account. If you receive a email from Ebay or PayPal that does not look right to you and you open it to read DONOT LOGIN ON IT!! Instead forward the email in whole text with header's included to the following: spoof at ebay.com, spoof at paypal.com and spam at ebay.com .

I can assure you they will respond in a matter of about 5 min. and tell you to delete the email and do not respond to it!! If they did send it they will let you know. All that I have said above involves PayPal emails too!! I have received the same offical looking emails that want me to go now and change my PayPal login and password or I will not be able to buy or sell anything on Ebay. Here again it's the same scam!! Do not fall for this send the emails to the above listed and they will let you know! Keep in mind that these scams are hard to detect and I have been told that most of these come from outside the U.S. but there are a lot of scammers in the U.S. too!!!

If you have found this information helpful PLEASE VOTE YES below and THANKS!!
