What a complete Nightmare. Recently bought an Apple Powerbook from a Guy in Sweden 'jagfan007' . However, 2 days later he was thrown off ebay!!

I claimed through Paypal and obviously won the case. At the time Paypal reps were sure that i would get my money back as i was pursuing the claim so close to the payment. Oh how was i wrong to believe them!!

Later they gave me the £150 guaranteed refund and are pursuing the claim. 1 month later, no more money and after about 10 calls the latest is... because i have used a debit card, the money was instantly transferred to his card. And consequently withdrawn. Therefore paypal couldnt find the remaining!! or so they say

How easy it is to do? - very easy! He is limited on the paypal account, but if he has no intention of selling or using ebay again, he has just made £1500 + easy OR MORE. The police wont do anything as it is only a laptop!

There are other users involved who i feel sorry for.
