Parrot toys and perches should be made out of BIRD SAFE materials. The only TRUELY bird safe metal is Stainless Steel. Any toys you plan on purchasing should clearly state what kind of metal, screws, bolts, ect is used, if it is not listed, it probly is not Stainless Steel (SS). All ropes should be made of 100% natural materials. The wood used in these toys also need to be bird safe. The auction should have these facts listed in thier auction, if it is not listed it should be the first qustion you ask. ZINC will kill your bird, and so will synthetic rope. Always beware!
