STAY AWAY!!!!

PROS - This tv has a very nice picture when it works

Cons - The bulb burns out on this model every other month.  The bulb costs about $300.00  I have owned this tv for about 1 1/2 years and it has been in the shop for about half of the time I owned it.  Last time it died it was picked up by the tv repair man on Dec. 22, 2005 and as of today (Feb  8, 2006) I have not seen it.  Before you even think about buying this set, do some research.  This is a very common problem, there are thousands of horror stories on the net.  I personally know one other person that has the same tv and same problems.  You would be better off throwing your money away (it is easier to carry to the curb).
