Signed Orignals & Reprints
When looking at Any Sports, Entertainment, Photos, or Memorbilia, and you are considering the purchase of a photo, that is, signed by an Original Person whose name appears on such Photo. You MUST consider the following: 1) The action where the photo was signed, and the "Rush" the person was in at the the time of the signing.... 2) If that person or celebrity was huried or rushed, it could have a drastic change or look on the actual signing were not that he or she was rushed !!
Most Celebritiy types may sign photos, or other forms of Memorbila at locations that have them "feel" rushed, or huried.... In such case thay may be "hasty" in that moment, and feel the "Obligation" to sign.... and, do not feel comfortable in that atmosphere. Sitting or standing could also have an effect on the signing. (Try it yourself both ways, and see how you sign)
If such is the case, as with it is with many of an athlete or star, that which he or she, has the just desire to just move "On", the momentem to "Move on" and just get it "Done'' results in a "Autograpghic Moment" that can lead to "Imperfection" in the signing. This has been the case with many "Runners" I have encountered. through the years.
This does not "denegrate" the signing. In fact it could make it more valuable in the fact that certain familularites take place within the signing of the artifact.
This of course comes with years of witnessing, aging, and product of the source!!!
You should be aware of this fact when purchasing such "Originals".... that it is not only a Fact that that such "Originals" can change, but often do. This relates to several "Authenicators" to reveal that "Originals" are "Fakes" which can be misleading... On the other hand, a good reproduction signing could be very hard to detect by even the best of the pros.
