My neighbor saw me selling on ebay and asked if I would come over and take some pictures of some things he had laying around the yard. I was a little hessitant because he had alot of junk (which I thought was trash) but I didnt want to be mean so I went over to see what he had. I took about 20 pictures of different items but only listed 2 of them. I didnt think any of them would sell for over a dollar. The item I listed was a light fixture he drug out of the woods that looked like it had been there about 10 years. It had 4 electrical sockets hanging from it and on top of those was a place for old lantern bags to use gas as light. There was also 4 chains draped over to the sockets. I listed it for 1.00 in hopes that it would sell for that amount and get rid of some junk for him. After the first day, I had 3 questions to answer about it. People wanted to know what kind of metal it was made out of, so I took some scotch brite and cleaned it up and found it to be brass. It ended up selling for 877.10. I couldnt believe it. If you or a neighbor have alot of junk------ DONT BE AFFRAID TO LIST IT. If you are not sure how to list it, go to search and type in the first description that comes to mind and see how many hits you get. You will be amazed!!!!!!!!!
