I've owned this camera since shortly after Olympus put them on the market. It is hands down the best camera I've ever owned! I wouldn't part with this for anything in the world! It takes superior pictures! The 5.0 megapixels is beyond the capabilities of 35mm film and the prints from this camera reflect that. The quality and the definition is amazing! There are  alot of nifty settings on the camera, but if you're not interested in using them, this camera offers a set point and shoot  that takes amazing pictures. In fact, I use the auto setting for almost everything! The advanced features put it over the top. The super macro takes you from close-up to EXTREME close-up! And the super zoom brings it all in for some amazing pics.

When sent to paper, the pictures are really nice. This camera does a great job on colors. And the details are amazing. I took a picture of a honey bee in flight and was surprised to see it's shadow on something behind. You'll see all the fine details too. I think the best way to feel out the depth of a camera is to take a picture of a cat or dog. The fur and wiskers need to be sharp and well defined...this camera does just that and MUCH MUCH MORE!

For the price of this camera, you're going to be a lot of bang for the buck! It's well worth it and I think you're going to love it as much as I love mine.
