Being a Trade Assistant helped me acquire the OOAK Fairy Dolls that you will find in my eBay Store.
When the award winning artist of these fairies/dolls contacted me about selling them on eBay I had no idea what OOAK Dolls were. I had to research the items to find out that it meant "One of a Kind" Dolls/Fairies.
The artist of the OOAK Fairies/Dolls that I sell makes hers out of Italian Polymer Clay. She handcrafts hers with no molds used of any kind, (as such there are slight irregularities to each one that add to their uniqueness).
Each one comes signed, numbered and dated by the artist with a certificate of authenticity.
There are many types of OOAK Dolls on the market but the creator of these dolls is an award winning artist. She won the May 2005 Froudian Artist Award and has been asked to do several interviews about her creations.
To her each one is a work of magic, and it is her experience that each chooses their own 'home'.
