WHY WOULD YOU PAY MORE FOR THIS LAPTOP THAN THEY COST ON OLPC'S WEBSITE? WHY NOT GO THERE AND BUY IT YOURSELF? THE BENEFIT TO THAT IS THEY WILL ALSO SEND A LAPTOP TO A CHILD WHO REALLY NEEDS IT! I understand that the OLPC Give One, Get One offer is only for those who live in the US and Canada, but this is ridiculous. Unlike some others here, I don't want to make a profit for myself, I only want to inform others so that more children can get an education. These sellers who want to turn this into the next "Tickle Me Elmo" or "iPhone" are destroying what this program is all about. I've seen auctions end at prices from $450 to almost $600, FOR ONE LAPTOP! The OLPC program costs less than $425 with shipping! You get yours AND an undereducated, needy child get theirs, not to mention the chances that child will now have to lead a prosperous, productive life in the future. So do the world (and your wallet) a favor and use the OLPC's G1G1 program. Also know this, I am in no way affiliated with this program. I am simply disgusted that some would try to make this into a "fad" and draw attention away from the fact that it is really a great program. Please tell everyone about this information.
