some of the sites that have books for sale are selling these older books- such as one copyrighted 1986-brought back with a new cover; the problem is this; you do not know this until you receive the books that you have read them 10 years ago as you canot remember the titles of every one by every author.  some examples include NORA ROBERTS, ELIZABETH LOWELL,SANDRA BROWN and there are others. this is unfair to the consumer-there should be some sort of guideline that tells you about this author, maybe even listing their books.  over the past few months, i have paid AMAZON for at 80,00 and maybe more for old books. they do not respond to emails.  WONDER WHY????????THEY ONLY WISH TO SELL-unfair; something needs to be done, as i know i am not the only reader out there who has, or will have this happen to them. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU BUY. by the way, AMAZON IS CHARGING TOP PRICES FOR THESE BOOKS-I CHECKED WALMART PRICES AGAINST AN AMAZON BOOK LISTED AT 7.99-WALMART HAS THE SAME BOOK FOR 5.99. listen up-take notice-all the women in my community are talking about this. DO NOT BUY, UNLESS YOU KNOW FOR SURE IT IS A NEW BOOK. REGARDS, DH
